With the correct care, your Lou Dungate knitwear should remain looking and feeling beautiful for a long time.

Cashmere

To clean your Lou Dungate cashmere, we recommend professional dry cleaning or hand-washing at home. Please avoid using a washing machine - as this can agitate the natural fibres and cause shrinkage. 

When washing by hand, use cool water and a gentle detergent, preferably one that is organic and plant-based. Do not leave to soak, rinse thoroughly and dry flat.

Storage & Travel

To keep your knitwear looking neat, store folded and avoid hanging as this can stretch the stitches. When travelling, we recommend rolling your knitwear to avoid any creases. And, when possible, use a natural moth repellent at home and when away.
