These terms apply to purchases made through loudungate.com, operated by LM & CM Holdings Ltd (Company No. 09496132).

1. Our products
Lou Dungate creates small-batch British apparel and accessories.
We aim to represent our products, colours and materials as accurately as possible. As some products are made from natural fibres and photographed under different lighting conditions, there may be slight variations in colour, texture or appearance.
Our products are available in the sizes, colours and options shown on the website. We do not currently offer personalised or customised products.

2. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the product.
Your order will be confirmed by email once your payment has been successfully received and we have accepted your order.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where there is a genuine pricing or product description error, a product becomes unavailable, or we are unable to fulfil the order. If we cancel an order, we will provide a full refund.

3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
We are not currently VAT registered.
Payment can be made using the payment methods available at checkout, including credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors before an order is accepted.

4. Delivery
UK delivery is charged at a flat rate of £5.
Our knitwear is produced in small batches. Where an item is made to order, we currently expect production to take approximately 6 weeks. Once production is complete, orders are normally dispatched using Royal Mail and should arrive within approximately 5–7 working days.
Orders are dispatched when the relevant production batch is ready.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. If there is an unexpected delay, we will keep you informed.
Any future international delivery charges and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout when international shipping becomes available.

5. Returns and cancellations
Under UK distance selling rules, you generally have the right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us at contact@loudungate.com within 14 days of receiving it. The item should then be returned promptly, unworn and in its original condition, with tags attached and in its original packaging.
Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of returning an item to us.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue your refund. Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.
Where required by law, your original standard delivery charge will also be refunded.
We do not currently offer exchanges. If you require a different size or product, please return your original order and place a new order.
Sale items may be returned in accordance with the same rights and conditions above.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

6. Faulty or incorrect items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or is not as described, please contact us at contact@loudungate.com as soon as possible.
Where an item is confirmed to be faulty, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights. Where a full refund is appropriate, this will be provided once we have received the faulty item.
We cannot exclude or limit any legal rights you have in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.

7. Intellectual property
All content on loudungate.com, including our brand name, logos, designs, artwork, product photography, text and other creative material, belongs to Lou Dungate or is used with permission.
Some photography and other creative work may be owned by or licensed from third-party photographers or other creators.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify or commercially use our content without permission from the relevant rights holder.

8. Website information
We take care to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be free from errors or interruptions.
We may update products, prices, availability and website content from time to time.

9. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been expected when you placed your order or for circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

10. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you will continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under the law of the country in which you live.
