Cashmere Care: The Basics

Cashmere knitwear, when cared for properly, should last a lifetime. However, we appreciate how busy life can be and often we have little time for ourselves let alone our clothes so we thought we’d whittle the basics down for you here. There will be more extensive coverage in future posts, but for now, if you can consider at least these little simple rules then we feel you and your cashmere will be off to a strong start.

• Always fold, never hang

• Moths can be deterred naturally with lavender or cedar wood

• Bobbles or pilling can be greatly reduced with a gentle wash (trimming should really be a last resort)
